Hours are billed as follows:
- Portal to portal, (with the exception that a straight travel day will be billed at a maximum of eight hours)
- With a minimum billing increment of 30 minutes
- All ordinary and necessary costs are fully reimbursable, including charges for photocopying, postage, express mail, messengers, and telephone.
- Under 1,000 miles – Full fare coach; over 1,000 miles Business or First Class, (if business class not available). Hotel: best commercial rate at full service hotel.

Mileage…………………………………………………………. (.45/mi) - Standard mediation fees are typically shared by the parties. (Mediations are governed by California Evidence Code). Cases involving large claims for damages may be better suited to a “Fixed Fee Program.” This program incorporates a fixed fee regardless of how long it takes to mediate the case.
- Arbitration fee where a single neutral is required is $150.00/hr. Administrative fees to a Tribunal will depend upon the amount of the case in controversy. The fee to preside as Senior Chair over a 3-person arbitration panel is : $150.00/hr
Payment Policy:
- The minimum fee (minimum earned retainer) $500.00 is due with Expert Witness Engagement Agreement.
- The billing schedule is semi-monthly (on the first and fifteenth). Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
- Accounts delinquent more than 30 days will be charged a late fee of 15% per annum (or the maximum allowable by law,) on all amounts past due.
- If legal or other expenses are incurred in the collection of outstanding amounts due, such expenses will be added to the outstanding balance.
